CLASS II BIOLOGICAL SAFETY CABINET
Class II Biosafety Cabinet for Laboratory Biological Protection
Designed for controlled biological handling, this Class II biosafety cabinet combines front inflow, vertical downflow, high-efficiency filtration and a stainless steel work zone in one integrated BSC platform. The cabinet is available in 1000 mm and 1300 mm working widths with recirculating or total-exhaust airflow configurations.
The biological safety cabinet series is intended for laboratory workflows where personnel protection, product protection and control of cross-contamination are evaluated together with room layout and exhaust conditions.

A Controlled Work Zone for Biological Laboratory Procedures
A biological safety cabinet is a ventilated laboratory enclosure used to manage airborne contamination during procedures involving biological materials. In this BSC series, inward airflow at the front opening works together with vertically filtered downflow inside the chamber to create a controlled operating zone.
Depending on the selected configuration, filtered cabinet air is either partly recirculated inside the cabinet or discharged as total exhaust. The 1000 mm and 1300 mm sizes allow the bio safety cabinet to be matched to available laboratory space and operator requirements.
The cabinet structure combines a coated cold-rolled steel body, a 304 stainless steel work surface, negative-pressure containment around the work area, a movable front sash and dedicated lighting/UV-lamp provisions shown in the product specification.

Class II A2 & B2 Airflow Options
Recirculating Airflow Configuration

70% Internal Recirculation
30% Exhaust
Approximately 70% of filtered airflow is recirculated for continued use inside the cabinet, while approximately 30% is discharged after filtration. This layout reduces the amount of cabinet air sent to the exhaust path compared with a total-exhaust configuration.
Total-Exhaust Airflow Configuration

100% Exhaust
External Exhaust Coordination Required
The source product range also includes a 100% exhaust configuration. Cabinet airflow is filtered and directed to the exhaust path rather than being returned to the internal work-zone circulation, so project exhaust conditions should be reviewed during equipment selection.
Select the airflow configuration according to the laboratory process, handled materials, room exhaust conditions and applicable safety requirements.
