Single Person Double-Sided Air Shower
$780.00
Designed for sites with moderate personnel flow, this single person air shower provides focused double-sided blowing in a compact cleanroom entrance. Adjustable nozzles direct filtered air toward the upper body, sleeves, waist and lower garments while interlocked doors help separate clean and non-clean zones. Buyers can specify painted steel or stainless-steel construction, entrance and exit orientation, shower-time settings, power supply and optional access control. Send the available opening, ceiling height, expected entries per shift and cleanroom application so the chamber layout can be checked before quotation.

What Is a Single Person Double-Sided Air Shower?
This configuration is a compact personnel entrance chamber intended for one user per cycle. Nozzles are arranged on both side walls so filtered air can reach the front, back and sides as the user raises their arms and slowly turns. It is a practical option for laboratories, small cleanrooms and production areas with moderate personnel traffic.
How the Cleaning Cycle Works
After the user enters and closes the non-clean-side door, the interlock keeps the clean-side door closed. The fan draws return air through the lower section of the chamber. Large particles are captured by the pre-filter, finer particles are removed by the HEPA filter, and the cleaned air returns through adjustable nozzles. At the end of the preset cycle, the clean-side door is released according to the selected operating logic.
How to Choose the Right Chamber
- Check traffic: a one-person unit is best when entry is distributed through the day rather than concentrated into a short shift-change period.
- Measure the opening: provide finished width, height, wall thickness and available service space.
- Confirm door movement: specify whether each door should open inward or outward and identify any corridor obstruction.
- Select the surface: powder-coated steel is suitable for many general cleanrooms, while stainless steel is preferred where cleaning frequency, humidity or corrosion risk is higher.
- Define the procedure: decide whether the unit is entry-only, two-way access with one-way showering, or another project-specific sequence.
Recommended Technical Direction
| Blowing arrangement | Double-sided adjustable nozzles for personnel coverage |
|---|---|
| Reference air velocity | Commonly planned around 20?C25 m/s for personnel units; final value confirmed by design |
| Cycle time | Often selected in the 10?C30 second range; adjustable control can be provided |
| Filtration path | Pre-filter followed by HEPA filtration in a closed recirculation loop |
| Safety and control | Door interlock, operating indicator, lighting and emergency function as specified |
Where This Model Fits Best
A single person air shower can serve pharmaceutical support rooms, electronics workshops, testing laboratories, medical-device production and other controlled entrances where one user at a time is acceptable. It may be installed between the changing area and cleanroom, between different cleanliness zones, or at another controlled access point identified in the facility flow plan.
Options Available for Project Matching
The chamber can be configured with different internal widths, door-window designs, stainless or coated surfaces, nozzle quantities, control-panel languages and electrical standards. Access readers or permission-control signals can be discussed when the air shower needs to connect with an existing entry system. For low ceilings, a revised blower arrangement may also be evaluated.
What Information Is Needed for a Quote?
Please provide a floor plan, opening size, ceiling height, cleanroom use, people per shift, peak entries, required door direction, selected body material, power supply and destination. Also state whether you need drawings, installation guidance, filter test documentation or a specific acceptance procedure. The quotation should be based on these confirmed requirements rather than a generic standard unit.
Buyer Questions
Does one person need to turn during the cycle?
Yes. Raising the arms and turning slowly helps the jets reach sleeves, waist, back and lower garments more evenly.
Can the cycle time be changed?
Yes. The controller can be configured with an adjustable cycle; the actual setting should follow the cleanroom procedure.
Does the air shower replace gowning?
No. It is an additional particle-control step and cannot replace correct clothing, training, cleaning and traffic management.
