Static Pass Box

$370.00

The static pass box is a simple, low-maintenance transfer chamber for moving small materials between areas with similar cleanliness requirements. Its sealed body and double-door interlock help prevent both sides from opening together. Chamber sizes, wall fit, SUS304 inner surfaces, outer-shell material, viewing windows and UV light can be selected for the facility. It is a practical choice when active airflow is not required and the project needs a cleanable, dependable transfer point.

When a Static Pass Box Is the Right Choice

A static pass box is intended for controlled transfers where the two connected rooms have similar cleanliness conditions. It does not include a built-in fan or active air-cleaning loop. Instead, contamination control relies on the sealed chamber, cleanable surfaces and an interlock that keeps the two doors from opening together.

Typical Project Uses

Static units are commonly selected for tools, small components, samples, packaging and routine materials moving between cleanrooms, laboratories or controlled packaging areas. They reduce unnecessary door opening and personnel movement while keeping the transfer procedure straightforward.

Published external dimensions are useful for early planning, but the final cut-out should be based on the approved drawing. A small installation allowance is commonly considered so the unit can be levelled, fixed and sealed into the partition.

Construction Options

  • SUS304 stainless-steel inner chamber for frequent wiping and disinfection
  • SUS304 or powder-coated steel outer shell depending on use and budget
  • Mechanical interlock for a simple non-powered arrangement
  • Electronic interlock where indicators, alarms or access control are required
  • Double-glazed viewing windows sized to the door and equipment
  • UV lamp as an auxiliary surface-treatment option, subject to the facility SOP

Using the Chamber

The sending-side operator cleans the item as required, opens the available door, loads the chamber and closes it fully. Only then can the receiving side open. UV treatment, when specified, supplements rather than replaces the site’s cleaning process. Both doors must never be forced or opened together.

Information Needed for a Quote

Confirm the internal clear size, maximum load dimensions, wall material and thickness, desired interlock, inner and outer materials, viewing-window requirement and any UV or access-control option. The equipment can then be matched to the actual transfer route instead of relying on a generic model.
